     Halle Berry was the first runner-up in the 1986 Miss USA Pageant and finished sixth in the 1986 Miss World Pageant.  With the exposure, Halle was starred in her first movie in 1991 called Jungle Fever.  She has starred in numerous hit movies such as The Flintstones, X-Men, Monster's Ball, and Die Another Day. In 2001, she became the first African American actress to win an Academy Award as the "Best Actress" for her role in Monster's Ball.

     Halle Berry is one of Hollywood's top paid actresses.  She is also the face of Revlon cosmetics and the face of Versace.  Although she has won an Academy Award, Halle has also won the Razzie as the "Worst Actress" for her role in Catwoman.  She is very photogenic and is one of the few celebrities that actually looks great in short hair.  Halle Berry has two upcoming movies called New Year's Eve (2011) and Movie 43 (2012).

Halle Berry, born August 14, 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio is a model turned actress. Her father was an African-American man while her mother was Caucasian. At the young age of four, her abusive father left her and the family. The family was then moved to an inner-city suburb where Halle would stand out from the rest because of her skin color. However, that did not stop her much in highschool. Halle was on the cheerleading squad, an honors student, the editor of the school newspaper, class president, and prom queen. Her place in the spotlight began when pursuing a modeling career. Halle has since won many beauty contests and pageants. Halle has had some small roles in television shows but her big debut was in Spike Lee's Jungle Fever. At the peak of her career, Halle has starred as the Bond Girl in Die Another Day, Storm in the X-Men movies, and as Catwoman.
