     Kate Upton is an American model and is best known for gracing the cover of the 2012 Swimsuit Issue for Sports Illustrated.  She is also an equestrian and has won three APHA Reserve World Championships with her horse named Roanie Pony.  She began her modeling career in 2008 when she attended a casting call in Miami for Elite Model Management.  Kate has also modeled for Garage, Dooney & Bourke, Guess, and Victoria's Secret.  She appeared on Equire as "The Woman of the Summer" and was named the Rookie of the Year by Sports Illustrated in 2011.  


     Kate Upton's popularity soared after she appeared in the April 2011 video of her doing the dougie at a Los Angeles Clippers game.  The video went viral and created a media stir and she would then appear on Saturday Night Live and the Late Night Show with David Letterman.  Kate made a few movies appearances and she is currently dating the New York Jets' quarterback, Mark Sanchez.
