Akiko Tsuruga: Sakura (2012)

Written By Hourpost on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 | 4:05 AM

Akiko's playing is like watching a flower blooming, a bird spreading her wings in the music world. Akiko is here to stay. Making Japan proud after just a few short years in the USA!
Dr. Lonnie Smith
I would like to dedicate this album to Japan, my home country. As you are aware, Japan was hit by a big earthquake on March 2011. Although I wanted to do something for the people in Japan badly. I couldn't do anything because I was here in the States. I would like to show my love with this album. Sakura is Japanese cherry blossoms that symbolizes the most beautiful season in Japan.
