Sharapova was unhappy with changes in the rules of selection to Olympic Games

Russia's Maria Sharapova remained dissatisfied with the changes in the rules of selection at the Olympics, according to which, in order to qualify in Rio in 2016, the players must be in the Olympic cycle to come in the team in the Fed Cup are not two, but four times.
