Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes house hunting in Tuscany
Skilfully avoiding the more volatile European second home markets, high-profile Hollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are looking for a holiday villa in the popular Italian region of Tuscany to add to their property portfolio.
TomKat, who chose Italy as the location for their wedding in 2006, are particularly interested in a 12 bedroom villa near the walled city of Lucca, reports the Daily Mail. The couple have already signed an option on the sprawling Villa Mammoli, which also features 15 bathrooms, a pool and a private chapel, and is on the market for £16 million.

Katie Holmes has a unique perspective on the fashion industry. She’s a designer, collaborating on the high-end line Holmes & Yang; a model, representing Ann Taylor’s Spring 2011 collection; and a fashion plate, wearing designer duds wherever she goes. So where does she get her great style ideas? “I raid my friends’ closets,” she admitted to PEOPLE recently at an Ann Taylor event in L.A. “I’m always inspired by them. I tend to say, ‘Do you mind if I copy you?’” When she is emulating pals, she’s sure to highlight her waist — “I have a sense of what works on me and what doesn’t,” she shared — and give her body some shape. “I try not to wear dresses that look like muumuus, even if they happen to be in style,” she explained. “I can’t pull it off!” Another trend she’s wary of? Flashing her midriff. “I’m so over a cropped T-shirt or anything that shows my belly button,” Holmes said. “I went down that road; you can only do it when you’re young!” The star, who favors maxi skirts and tank tops in warm weather and generally wears flats — though she likes “the look of a heel” — says she always gets a boost when she hears from a certain critic, too. “Suri has great taste,” she shared. “I always feel complimented when she says, ‘Can I have that when I grow up?’”

Ann Taylor introduces Little Ann outfit for girls!
The limited-edition "Little Ann" outfit, made up of a hand-embroidered top ($78) and a matching silk crinkle skirt ($78) will hit select stores and the company's website next month. The twirl-ready Mexican-inspired outfit – created by Lisa Axelson, Ann Taylor’s head of design and a new mom herself – will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with 60 percent of sales going to the organization. For mamas loving the look themselves, a matching outfit will be available in grown-up sizes, with grown-up prices to match ($128 for the top and $118 for the skirt).

Suri, Katie and Tom dined at posh RL eatery on Friday, 11 in Chicago — accompanied by a nanny, two security guards and three other women.
The svelte Holmes ate a cheddar cheeseburger and a banana split (hooray!) and hung out for 45 minutes after paying the check. (Holmes was in town for an exclusive premiere of her clothing line, Holmes & Yang, at Barney’s Saturday.)

On Monday 7, Katie Holmes and her stepdaughter Isabella Cruise, and a friend of Isabella's took in lunch at restaurant specializing in vegetarian food. The three enjoyed almond shakes, pesto pizza, falafel and chocolate fudge for desert.
After lunch, Isabella went off with her friend, while Holmes picked up daughter Suri, 4, and took her to watch her dad in action on the set of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, the fourth film in the action-thriller franchise.
