Molly Wood Garden Design {fall}

Last week I had a chance to stop by my friend Molly's shop for a little table-scaping class she was having.  She has the best selection of goodies and plants!  It is always an inspiration to walk through the garden and the shop.

This is just a peek at the goodness that she has going on there.

For more info on Molly and her services stop by her site.

at home...

I came across these beautiful images on No. 19 and completely fell in love with the layered and real life look of them.  Sometimes I really need to be reminded that I need to design for me..  it does not always work that way for me at home.  I am thinking it might be fun to start a new series of real homes - designers at home.. Are you interested?  Well if you are drop me a line and we will see where it leads..  Wishing you a creative and productive Monday!

greige and flowers

Just about everything is better with flowers I think.  I have been buying fresh flowers to put around the house lately as my roses are not doing their best this year.  Soon though it will be time to cut the hydrangea and that I have a lot of!

Adding a touch of green to your home

So it snowed here yesterday. Yes, I know, that's just rude. I mean, what happened to spring?! I'm still going to embrace greenery though, only it'll have to be indoors! So for those of you, who like me are dying for a spring feel, here are some very cool ways to turn your world green...Ok and a bed outdoors (note to self - will require a very very very good duvet).

I absolutely love the first pic with the greenery collage by stylist Tina Hellberg. What about you?

I hope you all have a lovely Friday! And may the snow melt away in your parts of the world (but umm not the parts where it's not meant to...i.e. the Poles etc....of course) and show beautiful fields of green..

Vintage Urns

I have this deep love for vintage urns, I was browsing through the new container images from the boys at Atelier de Campagne and I am loving all of these..  Pairs of them make my heart skip a beat!

Can you imagine them flanking a door or on the mantle?  Just so perfect to add that little bit of something with some great live plants added in.

Love on the outside..

I fell for this picture when I saw it in House Beautiful, it is everything I want for our outdoor space just beyond the dining room!  So refreshing and relaxed.

I cannot believe it is already Thursday!  I am hoping that we can finally get the last touches into the bathroom in the next day or two so I can take a few pictures to share.  It is so slow to get those last things done..

The olive branch

I love the look of cut tree branches inside.  The olive branch is one of my favorites with it's grey undertones.  I think I need to bring more greenery inside - I feel like I am lacking!  A large clear glass vase with them is going to look great in my bathroom.

The bathroom is on it's final days, I cannot wait for it to be finished!  Painting today and hopefully by the weekend we can use it after more than a month of work.

Also, today is the last day to enter the Lux Lampshade giveaway!!!

Hot plant

Hi friends! The Scandiavian plant of the moment is Corokia 'silver ghost'. It is very dark, silvery and beautiful and it's taking the interior world by storm. Here's how the Norwegian interior design guru's are displaying theirs...
