The teen superstar made an appearance at the annual convention to promote a new robot from Vietnamese robotics firm TOSY Robotics. The 'mRobo Ultra Bass' is a state-of-the-art portable speaker that doubles-up as a dancing robot. Pop star Justin Bieber showed up on the CES show floor today to introduce the mRobo Ultra Bass, a portable speaker that doubles as a dancing robot.
The device, from Vietnam-based Tosy Robotics JSC, includes 2GB of internal storage, or about 500 songs. In speaker mode, mRobo weighs about 3.3 pounds and measures 4.3 by 6.3 by 7.9 inches (WLH). The mRobo Ultra Bass launches in the fall for $199. Whether Bieber can turn his 16.3 million Twitter fans into mRobo buyers remains to be seen.

Justin Bieber caused a minor scrum on the floor of the Consumer Electronics Show Wednesday when he stopped by to launch a dancing robot for Vietnamese toy and robotics designer Tosy. Bieber looked ready for the spotlight in his Louis Vuitton denim jacket as he greeted fans in Las Vegas. The mRobo is designed as a speaker that can also dance to music uploaded from a USB stick. Tosy said the mRobo will be available for purchase this year.
