Want all the performance of the BMW M6 but need four proper seats? Then you’re in luck, as BMW has announced that it will expand the M6 range in 2013 to include a hotter version of its four-door Gran Coupe.
The M6 Gran Coupe will be powered by the same 560bhp turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 as the standard M6 Coupe - which will go on sale in September - and will go head to head with the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG and the Audi S7. Performance is likely to be closely matched to the standard M6 Coupe, with a 0-62mph time of 4.2 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.
Similarly to the M6 Coupe and Convertible, the M6 Gran Coupe gets larger alloy wheels, quad exhausts and a more aggressive body kit. Changes include sculpted bumpers and side skirts, as well as wider front air intakes.
Official details have yet to be announced but the new M6 Gran Coupe should cost around £96,000 when it goes on sale in the UK next summer. For more details click here.
